Digitalization is expected to change medicine as a whole, the job profile of physicians, and biomedical research.
This development will affect the individual disciplines at different speeds and to different extents.
We must prepare our physicians for this future. The answers to the question of what it means to practice medicine in the digital age are central - for everyday clinical practice, for clinical and translational research, as well as for the training and continuing education of physicians.
The strategic goal «Digital Medicine» as part of the overall Strategy 2030 of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bern takes this development into account.
